How to Purchase a Firearm from Heyward Streams

At Heyward Streams Inc., buying a firearm is simple and personalized, whether you’re choosing a standard model or a custom masterpiece with Stippling, Cerakote, or unique designs. Follow our streamlined process to get your firearm with confidence. Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Select Your Firearm

Explore our curated selection of high-quality firearms, from pistols to rifles, including our signature custom options. Add your chosen firearm to your cart and proceed to checkout.

Step 2: Choose Your FFL or In-Store Pickup

At checkout, you’ll select the FFL you’d like to receive your firearm:

  • FFL Transfer: Pick a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer near you to handle the transfer, including background checks and paperwork. Use our FFL locator tool to find a dealer, or enter your preferred dealer’s contact details if they’re not listed.
  • In-Store Pickup: For In-store pickup contact us at (786) 532-3476 or heywardstreamscontact@gmail.com. As an FFL dealer, we’ll process all required background checks and paperwork on-site at 7875 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024.

Step 3: Shipping and Tracking

Once your order and FFL details are confirmed, we’ll ship your firearm, you’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Step 4: Pick Up Your Firearm

  • FFL Transfer: Your chosen FFL dealer will receive and log the shipment, then contact you for pickup. Each dealer has unique processes, so confirm their hours, transfer fees (paid directly to the FFL), and required documents (e.g., ID, permits) in advance.
  • In-Store Pickup: Visit our Pembroke Pines location to complete the transfer. Bring valid identification and any required permits. We’ll handle the background check and paperwork during your visit.

Important: Inspect your firearm thoroughly before accepting the transfer at the FFL or in-store. Once transferred, it’s considered used (even if unfired).

State and Local Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your firearm purchase complies with your state and local laws, including restrictions on magazine capacity, features, or handgun rosters. Consult your FFL dealer before ordering. We adhere to all federal and state regulations and will not ship restricted firearms to prohibited jurisdictions. For compliance-related modifications or documentation, contact us in advance.
