1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to purchase firearms, ammunition, or related accessories through our website. By using our services, you represent that you meet all legal requirements for purchasing and owning firearms in your state or country.

2. Compliance with Laws

It is your responsibility to know and comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the purchase, transfer, ownership, and use of firearms and ammunition. Heyward Streams assumes no liability for any misuse of our products.

3. Purchases & Transfers

  • All firearm sales will be processed in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations, including background checks where required.
  • Firearms must be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer.
  • Customers are responsible for any fees charged by the receiving FFL.

4. Shipping & Returns

  • Firearms cannot be shipped directly to individuals (except as allowed by law).
  • Returns are only accepted on unused, non-firearm merchandise. Firearms and ammunition sales are final unless otherwise required by law.

5. Limitation of Liability

Heyward Streams is not responsible for accidents, misuse, or negligence involving any firearm or related product purchased through our site. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heyward Streams and its employees from any claims resulting from improper or illegal use of any products.

Firearm Safety Rules

By purchasing or handling any firearm, you agree to always follow these four fundamental firearm-safety rules:

1. TREAT ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE LOADED

Always assume your firearm is loaded, even if you have previously checked it. Never take anyone’s word that a firearm is unloaded. Always check yourself with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and your finger outside the trigger guard, away from the trigger.

2. NEVER POINT THE MUZZLE AT ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY

Always point the muzzle in a safe direction, away from yourself and others—where, if the gun were to accidentally fire, it wouldn’t damage or injure anyone or anything.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER

Until your sights are aligned on the target and you are ready to fire. This means keeping your finger outside the trigger guard until you have your sights aligned on the target.

4. ALWAYS BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND IT

This includes making sure nothing is behind your target that you don’t want to destroy.

Failure to follow these rules can result in serious injury or death.
